    When I first started taking and filing digital photos, the management of the files was fairly simple. Over time the volume of files grew. If it was just archiving files that was the issue then it would be okay. The issue arises when I want to do something with the files, that is when organisation and a system is needed.

    Despite having a fully manual film camera, I have struggled to understand the best way to work with the DSLR in full manual mode. The trip to the Flinders Ranges brought that into sharp focus. It takes searching on YouTube for good videos and practice, practice, practice.
